BEHIND THE PEN

Frank Docherty is a is a Pen and Ink artist. Originally from London, England, Frank began painting as a small child. At the age of six, he became one of the youngest pen and ink artists ever to show work at the Wallace collection London.

Mr. Docherty started exhibiting his Pen and Ink illustrations alongside adult artists at an early age, and was planning on becoming an artist for as long as he can remember. Frank is a completely self taught artist. he started exhibiting his work professionally, Over the years, he has also participated in a number of public art events.

As an artist, Frank creates works in a variety of styles ranging from Pen and Ink to Pastels and charcoal. Franks artworks can be seen in private collections, as well as on the internet.

Mr. Docherty believes that in order to be a good artist, one needs to be a well-rounded person. Along with his Wife Paula, son Ross, he believes that everyday is a blessing, and beauty can be found everywhere one looks.
